RIP Bob Sheppard

Legends Never Die.

I had the pleasure of attending several Yankee games while my Dad lived in New Jersey. Mr. Sheppard’s distinct delivery helped to create an almost mythological feel to any ballgame. I remember going to the game with my Dad, sitting and eating  hotdogs in the legendary Yankee Stadium, and getting goosebumps as Mr. Sheppard welcomed us to the ballpark. I will never forget those days with my Dad, and I’m grateful Bob Sheppard will always be the narrator of  my favorite memories…

Rest in peace Mr. Sheppard… May your voice live forever.
