There’s lots going on and this is a good thing.  Today I spoke to the sweeeeeeeeeeeet Tiffani Thiessen (no Amber so of course I asked her about that) to promote the show White Collar on USA.  She was just lovely and you can hear the full interview here. 

My mom also checked in with her review of “Inception” which she absolutely loved.  You can listen to her thoughts here.  The best part is the advice she has for Leonardo DiCaprio (hilarious). 

Coming up on Friday we’ll have a chance for you to win front row Melissa Etheridge tickets.  The show is at the Cobb Energy Center Friday night.  I talked to her today and she was so nice.  Her break up has been all over the headlines but I chickened out when it came to asking about it.  Not sure if this was the right thing to do, I mean, I wanted to know….but felt that it was personal, blah, blah, blah. It just didn’t feel right going there.  Annnnnyway, the interview will be posted this week and you can win those tickets during RFL Friday.  I’m going to do a mystery theme and you’ll have to figure out what it is to win.

In other interview news we just confirmed our next Radio Free Takeover for August 24th.  A major Food Network star will come in to spin his favorite tunes.  Wanna guess who it is???  Mark it on your calendar, he’s going to be great!!

Today Oprah’s BFF was in the studio next door simulcasting her radio show.  Of course we tried our hardest to snag an interview and we kinda did.  See the awkwardness take place here!!  Love you Gayle!!!

Lots going on!  This is a good thing.

*CNN’s Kyra Phillips checked in with the latest on the BP crisis in the gulf.  She has been on the scene and gave us some great insight into this horrible situation.  Hear what Kyra has to say here.  Kyra is on CNN weekdays from 9-11Am.

*We talked to Biz Markie who will be in town in October with Yo Gabba Gabba at the Fox.  I’m sure he’s super sweet but it sounded like he was just waking up.  He did teach me how to beat box which was pretty fun.  Listen to it here.

*Belinda Carlisle checked in to talk about her book “Lips Unsealed” today.  The book is GREAT but the interview is kinda hard to hear.  I think she was calling from Europe so some parts are barely audible—but it’s still pretty good.  She was really sweet.  Listen to it here. 

*Finally, I spoke with Bethany from the Real Housewives Of NYC and I’ll post the segment tomorrow.  I’m counting the minutes till tomorrow’s finale and her show “Bethany Getting Married?”.  I still can’t figure out if I like her or not, but I looooove watching her on Bravo!!

*Finally vote for the most creative lunch idea here.  We had some killer submissions so thanks to everyone who entered!  I will post the winning idea tomorrow morning.

I just can’t say enough about Thomas!!  He was so down to earth and truly loves music .  My favorite part was when New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick called in.  It was awkwardly awesome.  You can hear the entire show on the Dave website here.

Today’s guest is Atlanta Falcons GM, Thomas Dimitroff!  Wait until you hear some of his song selections and who will be calling in to talk music with us at 12:30…

Legendary Coach Bill Belichick from New England Patriots will check in on today’s takeover.  Apparently he’s buds with Thomas and Jon Bon Jovi!  Check out this video of him singing back up on “Wanted Dead Or Alive”…not bad coach!!
