We’re opting to stay in tonight (yaaaaaaay!) since the hangover from Tuesday night’s show is still kicking (see below post).  If you’re going out have fun and be safe!  It’s going to be good to relax tonight because tomorrow we are going to see the Avett Brothers at the Fox.  To be honest, I didn’t know that much about them until recently.  Mike turned me on to their music (we now play them on Dave FM).  Check out this HILARIOUS video they just released.  So clever!!  The song is great too

This may be the gayest post EVER.  So Lady Gaga was insane….in a good way.  The show was fantastic and she is quite the show woman.  The costumes, dancers and sets were fabulous.  When I called her the “poor man’s Madonna” the gays slapped my hand (Elizabeth did too).  Sorry but she is.  Lady Gaga is a great singer but the dancing is sort of funny in those stiletto heels.  Girlfriend works it though and I am officially a MONSTER now (what she calls her fans).

The scene at the show was flamboyant but not as crazy as we hoped.  There were a few people dressed to the nines but mostly it was lots of Atlanta pretty boys watching the show with the look of “impress me bitch”.  We were kinda disappointed in the crowd, they weren’t as loud as we were.

After the show we were drafted to a gay bar (Friends On Ponce).  Since we didn’t eat dinner before the show I asked the gaggle of gays if they had food.  The response?  ”NO FOOD, WE DON’T EAT! ONLY DRINKING”.  Um, OK.  So instead of a delicious greasy post show meal we  had Jaeger shots and 3 day old popcorn.  It was gross but I was HUNGRY and drizzunk. It’s a shame I’m not a gay man, I’d be so thin.  Anyway, we danced, smoked (ugh yes–so gross but guilty) and out bitched each other all night.  I think some of the people in the bar wanted to kick us out because we kept playing “Bad Romance” in the jukebox.  Crazy.  Good.  Times.  Ga Ga Ooh La la!! I’m still enjoying being a lazy slob while on vacation. Today was spent running errands and returning gifts (I know, very exciting).  The only thing sort of flashy to report is that I tried the new Bistro Nikko for lunch.  It was absolutely delicious and everything but the service reminded me of being in Paris. When you’re in France you have to ask for the check as they want you to dine leisurely.  At this place they were rushy mc hurry upersons. I’d be fine with this if they were slammed but they weren’t.  I’d still definitely go back.

Right now the countdown is ON for Lady GAGA!!  A group of us are going on Tuesday night and we can barely sit still.  It is going to be like gay Christmas to the 10th power.  Heaven!!!

The Christmas tree…have a happy holiday!  Wednesday’s Radio Free Lunch will be ALL Christmas music.  We’re throwing genre out the window so ANYTHING goes.  Go crazy because after today I’m on vacation till January 4th.

The show at the Variety was awesome!!  Love, love, love these guys!!  Everyone got into the spirit for the show which is why I’m wearing a sexy Christmas sweater.
