Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Real Housewives of Atlanta

I’m lovin’ it!!  I feel like I’ve lost important brain cells after watching, but who gives an eff—I’m hooked. My producer and overall beotch had some strong opinions about the show and I’ll respond to them here in italics:

NeNe has gained weight. (Maybe, but I love the new hair, she still looks good.  Can you tell I’m scared of her?)

The new house broke single B, is busted, but i like her.  (Me too!  Hotness!!)

Why didn’t you get invited to Nesy Nash bday (Good question, I need to talk to Miss Sophia about that!!!)

Lisa hasnt called you back because she doesnt make money from you. That is what she says in the opening. (True that!  Miss “call me anytime” hasn’t responded to any of my emails.  What-Ever!!)

OMG… Kim … no words. (None.  The beauty school scene??  Tragic.  Classic.  Amazing.)

Eliz didn’t mention Sheree who I will just give an overall WTF?!?!  A party with a helicopter arrival?  Child please.

What did you think of the show!?!?  And Nene will be coming in the studio with us in mid August.  Yes!

Pump It Up

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Dave FM is getting fired up for the 2009 Atlanta Falcons season!! Friday from 10-12p we’ll have exclusive interviews with superstar players Jerious Norwood, Michael Turner and Erik Coleman.  Voice of the Falcons, Wes Durham will be in too.

Radio Free Lunch at noon will be songs that get you “pumped up” (for football or the weekend in general ;) ). Some of my faves are “Song 2″ by Blur or “Elevation” by U2.  What song gets you pumped up????

Atlanta Falcons Mascot

We’re doing all of this because training camp is open to public this weekend (cool, right?). Also, single ticket sales start Saturday.   Go Falcons!!

Dark Side Of The Tune

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

Has there ever been a song lyric that’s completely grossed you out?  ”Yellow matter custard, dripping from a dead dog’s eye” from “I Am The Walrus” has always given me the creeps.  Also, “the placenta hits the floor” from Live’s “Lighting Crashes??  Gross!!  For Wednesday’s Radio Free Lunch, tell us what song lyric you think is just creepy!!

My guest today is Alton Brown from the Food Network.  He’s in to promote the 10th anniversary of “Good Eats” which is being filmed here next month (we’ll have tickets to give away).  The interview is at 11ish and for Radio Free Lunch at noon we’ll play “good” songs—as in all songs that mention good.  ”Good People”, “A Change Would Do You Good” or “It’s Good To Be King” will work.
