When the weather reports are up to 60% rain, I take a 100mpg scooter to work. I live/work in Clayton county and my scooter has seen most all of Fulton and Henry and some of DeKalb counties as well. Only a few times have I been caught in rain, and if it is tooooo bad, I find a gas station with an over head cover til the rain stops.

  • I pledge to commute by bike 4-5 days a week as long as I am able. It helps keep me sane in Atlanta traffic, and the savings are huge!!!
My 2002 Honda has 53,000 miles in it, I put about 3,300 miles on it a year (compared to 4,500 on my bike), and I buy gas an average of 8 times a year (for the past four years).

I pledge to vanpool as long as I work in Atlanta, Ga. My commute is approximately 51 or etc. miles one way a day. I like to sleep in the mornings and in the afternoons on the way back home.

I buy less gasoline for my car, my car last longer, and gets less mileage on it by riding the vanpools. Therefore the air is cleaner by me not driving to Atlanta every day.

I pledge to carpool as long as I am working. I have enjoyed the ride to work carpooling it has been such a good experience. I am to have good conversation with the lady that I am carpooling with. Also I hate driving in the rain she always takes those days and drives us to work. It is such a joying saying on the gas. The time goes by better riding with someone to work and back. These days every person should consider devoting some way to keep the enviorment clean.
