The Days Go On…
So now the debates are over…snore…and baseball is about to reach the Fall Classic. It’s Philadelphia versus either Tampa Bay or Boston and as of right now, it looks like the the TB Rays are going for the first time in their franchise’s history.Â
As a Yankee Fan, I’m just glad that Boston isn’t going to make it and it’s nice to see Red Sawks Nation start to crumble.Â
The Falcons are winning and Dave After Tomorrow is back and in full swing and things couldn’t be better.Â
Except for the American Red Cross.Â
I’ve talked about this on the air before and the blood bank is almost completely empty.  We’re talking about a catastrophic issue here in Atlanta. Every blood type is empty or at the verge of being empty. By giving one pint of blood, you are saving 3 people’s lives. The whole process of giving your fine red lifeforce is about an hour of your time and cookies and apple juice…not a bad gig.Â
So I ask this of you friends, please please PLEASE give blood. You can find out your donation center by calling 1-800-GIVELIFE or by going to www.americanredcross.org.Â
It’s all about paying it forward and EVERYONE is capable of saving a life. Hell, in 4 hours you’ll have that blood back anyways. Thank you and much love.
I’m Orff and I approve this message.Â
