Another Call For Assistance
Salutations fellow DaveFM lovers.
It would appear that I need to call upon you again to help a cause that will, hopefully not anytime soon, save your life. I’m talking about giving blood. I’ve asked before and will ask again since it is VERY important.
Just a few facts about giving blood that I think you should know.
1. Giving ONE (1) pint of blood will save three lives.
2. Someone needs blood every 2 seconds.
3. About 1 in 7 people entering the hospital need blood.
4. Shortages of blood happen around winter and summer holidays. (It really is the ultimate gift)
5. More than 4.5 million people in the U.S. and Canada need blood transfusions every year.
See, those are just a few things you should know to give you that little nudge to get to your local blood donation center.
